Doctor Barbie Diorama

The Heart Family babies have an appointment at Doctor Barbie’s office for their scheduled checkup. But one of the babies is not feeling well!

For some time I wanted to make a diorma that was about Doctor Barbie until I finally had the idea of ​​turning her into the pediatrician for the babies of The Heart Family. I love including The Heart Family in my stories as they add a cute touch to the dioramas. Furthermore, The Heart Family and Doctor Barbie belong to the same Barbie era, with The Heart Family being from 1984 and Doctor Barbie from 1987. This means that when the babies were born, Doctor Barbie was about to graduate from medical school! So in my Doctor Barbie diorama, The Heart Family Mom takes her babies, which I named Amy and Caleb, to the newly opened Doctor Barbie office for their routine checkup.

Doctor Barbie examines Amy’s eyes. She stays very still! “Everything looks fine” says Doctor Barbie.

Now it’s time to measure Amy. Amy has been growing very well! She’s a big girl now!

But Caleb hasn’t been feeling very well. Doctor Barbie examines him with the stethoscope. He has some congestion.

Caleb just has a mild cold. He gets an injection. “You’re a very brave boy,” Mom comforts him.

“You two have done very well!” says Doctor Barbie to Amy and Caleb. She hands a lollipop to her little patients.

Doctor Barbie gives Mom some medicine for Caleb’s cough. “Thank you Doctor Barbie! You’re the best doctor ever!” Mom says.
