Spring is here and…Love is in the air! April is one of the favorite months to plan weddings. So, Barbie and Ken did their thing! Celebrate with them the happiest and most important day of their lives… their Wedding Day!

I’m so excited to show you this wedding diorama! I love weddings! The decorations with beautiful flowers and lights, the wedding cake, the commitment to love and care for each other, and of course, the beautiful bride in her dress! Outdoor weddings, on the beach, in a park, or in a backyard. Weddings inside a church, or in an elegant hotel…big weddings, small weddings…in short, weddings!

The truth is that I haven’t been to a wedding in a while, so I decided to make this fun diorama and become a wedding planner, decorator, stylist, and wedding photographer! I tried to capture the essence of what’s that special day in the life of many couples. I have to say that I was quite satisfied with the result. I used what I had handy at home: a hexagonal iron grid shelf that I never installed, LED Christmas lights, a white sarong, crystal candle holders, small artificial flowers, Jenga game pieces, cardstock, crystal glass, pink tissue paper, and some backyard vines .

For this wedding diorama I broke the mold a bit and did some things a little different than what I usually do for my blog. I always stayed true to vintage, but I wanted to take the risk and used new Barbie fashions: for the bride I used fashion pack GWF10 and for the groom I used fashion pack GWF11. I really loved the mix of new and vintage! What do you think?

For the Barbie and Ken Wedding Diorama I used the following dolls: Jewel Secrets Barbie as the bride, Tropical Ken as the groom, Doctor Barbie as the Maid of Honor, Garden Party Barbie and Twirly Curls Barbie as guests. The truth is that I couldn’t decide which photos to share, so here are all the photos that I think captured in a special way the love and joy of Barbie and Ken on their special day. I hope you enjoy Barbie and Ken Wedding Photo Album !
